Centrestage Agency is a highly reputable and professional theatrical agency which represents young performers in film, television, theatre, musical theatre, and commercial work. We pride ourselves on our hands-on style of representation, our honesty and accessibility in dealing with our artists and our extensive industry connections and knowledge.
Our agent, Melissa Quinn, under the guidance of Ian White, has a background in production, casting, and arts administration. Together they bring over 40 years of industry experience to the agency. This means that not only have they established strong industry contacts and relationships over the years, but also the ability to guide and mentor young performers as they develop their skills and confidence in preparation for careers as professional performers.
The agency represents young performers from the ages of 4 to 22. For information about our adult agency please see Ian White Management. Centrestage Agency was established in 2000 in response to a growing need to provide professional representation for the children training as actor/singer/dancers attending Centrestage Performing Arts School. Since then, the agency has expanded to include performers from outside the school and is now considered one of Melbourne’s foremost children’s drama agencies.
Admission to Centrestage Agency is by audition only as this allows us to assess new performers’ individual potential and to ensure that they are put forward for the right roles. Casting directors trust our recommendations because they know that we have taken the time to understand our actors’ unique skills and abilities.
Commitment to Child Safety
All children who work within the organisation of Centrestage Agency have a right to feel and be safe. The welfare of the children in our care will always be our first priority and we have a zero tolerance for child abuse and bullying. We aim to create a child-safe and child-friendly environment where children feel safe and have fun.
